Now available: NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800 and GeForce GTX 285 for Mac ProMac Pro customers now have two additional options for high-performance graphics: the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 graphics cards.

The ultra-high-end NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800 features 1.5GB of GDDR3 memory, two dual-link DVI ports, and a 3D stereo port for use with stereo-in-a-window applications.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 features 1GB of fast GDDR3 memory, two dual-link DVI ports, and outstanding performance for graphics-intensive professional applications as well as games.

Both cards are available separately as user installable kits from the Apple Online Store and through NVIDIA channel partners (Quadro FX 4800 available through PNY in the US and EMEA, Leadtek in APAC, and Elsa in Japan; GeForce GTX 285 available worldwide through EVGA). The standard graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 and the high-performance configure-to-order ATi Radeon 4870 continue to be available for customers interested in those graphics choices.
