There is a .com button in the Safari browser’s keyboard, but there isn’t one in the Mail app on the iPhone. Actually, there is a button, it’s just not very obivous. When you are typing out an email address in Mail in which your are going to type .com, .org, .edu, etc. just tap and hold on the period button and the choices will pop up. Then just slide your finger over to choose the domain ending you want. What’s even cooler is that you can use this feature whenever you are using a keyboard with a period, even third party apps.
